Talks

I am available for inspirational talks, guest lectures, spoken word performances, group sessions and workshops (creative thinking & writing)  and discussions across the UK and internationally.

Over the past 5 years I have shared my writing, thinking and poetry across the UK at many different events including Brighton Fringe, Bath Literature Festival, States of Independence book fair at De Montford University in Leicester, the Quad in Derby, Lyric Lounge in Chesterfield and Lincoln, Nottingham Festival of Words, Annesley Literature Festival, Worcester Literature Festival, Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival in Glasgow, Off the Fence Theatre performance in Leicester, Nottingham Women’s Centre International Women’s Day event and various other festivals, open mic and fundraising events.

I have given a TEDx talk at the University of Loughborough, guest lectures at Derby College and Merrill Academy in Derbyshire and spoken word performances across the UK. I held group sessions and workshops  at First Steps Derby, Women’s Voices in Derby, Lapidus South West in Bristol, Empowerment+ and various self-held groups  in Nottingham. I gave a guest reading at a Women Leading for Change workshop in Nottingham, a Tree of Life event in Birmingham, a Health and Social Care event at Bournemouth University, a Buddhist retreat on Holy Island in Scotland and a Champions for Change event in Nottingham. My ‘Resonance’ story was broadcast on Radio Erewash and on Trent Sound Nottingham. On 1st November 2014 I presented  ‘Resonance’ at an International conference on Global Peace and Emotional Intelligence in Kathmandu, Nepal.
